Braci Gessler Cafe

Braci Gessler Cafe is the newest venture of the Gessler family in the Hotel Europejski. The cakes are pricey (18 zloty, around 3.5 Euro) but delicious.  They also serve fantastic ice cream (3 zloty a scoop. The flavors range from traditional flavors like vanilla bean and chocolate to more unusual flavors like puffed rice (as pictured above), chalwa and wild fruits. Go there on the weekend and catch Mr. Krupa making fresh waffle cones for rurki (waffle 'straws' filled with freshly beaten whipped cream, 3 zloty each). Try a slice of the pistachio cake with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream with a rulka on the side-- you won't be sorry.
