Malinova icecream

Malinova serves the best ice cream in Warsaw, hands down. They stand out from local competitors because they bring in their dairy products from the Polish countryside and make the ice cream on premises. It's a little bit pricey and a little bit out of the center (between metro Pole Mokotowskie and Metro Racławicka on Aleja Niepodległości)but it is certainly worth checking out. Try the non-fruity flavors---pistachio, yogurt, chocolate, coffee, hazlenut etc. Smacznego!

cupcake explosion

Cupcakes are very new to Warsaw. In the past year, I hvae seen only 2 cafes that sell them. Of course, they have a Polish twist to them (for the better). Lola's Cupcakes in the Center and in Zloty Tarasy have cupcakes made with sour cherry icing and yogurt raspberry cupcakes with a sweetened cottage cheese icing on top.

sweet tooth

The moment I came back to Warsaw, I had to come here first. My sweet tooth had to be satisfied with a new chocolate cake dessert (with layers of cream and soaked in alcohol) at Slodki Slony.
