warsaw musem night

Last night was Museum Night in Warsaw....the whole city was alive with people crawling all over it, hopping from one museum to another. The streets were filled with people of all ages--- this one day a year is when the streets of Warsaw truly feel like the streets of London, New York or Tokyo (in a smaller modified version of course). Lines were long but highlights were the Łazienki Royal gardens with it's alleys lined with candles, concerts and nighttime lighting; the Royal Castle and gardens tour at 2 am, literary video projections on the old city's walls, Japanese lanterns and dance at the the Japanese Technical School, and the energetic amtosphere on the streets.
