UFO
UFO is a new hipster hangout on top (yes literally on top) of a non-functioning fountain on Plac na Rozdroze. They have a cafe there, a dj spinning, a makeshift pool and lots of lounging hipsters. Today they held a vintage and handmade goods market. People browsed and dipped their feet in the pool to cool off..

love bagels
Love Bagels is a relatively new 'resto' (it is only a little window that opens up onto the Nowy Swiat street) that serves it's namesake bagels. The bagels are surprisingly good (there are a few different kinds like sesame, poppy seed, plain, multi-grain, etc), the prices are reasonable (about 6 to 10 zloty for a toasted bagel with something on it...ranging from cheese and veggies to smoked salmon and cream cheese), and the service is surprisingly fast, efficient and very friendly.

Charlotte
Charlotte is a fantastic new cafe that recently opened up in the center of Warsaw on Plac Zbawiciela. It is similar to Au Pain Quotidien as it serves French style bread and pastries and has a giant wooden communal table. The food is pretty good--their 'breakfast menus'(served all day)include yummy house jam, homemade nutella, white chocolate spread, and lavender honey. I've had better coffee and croissants but they are both quite alright. The prices are pretty moderate for the center of Warsaw (the breakfast with a croissant, jams and coffee cost 11 zloty) and there is a nice terrace to sit outside and people watch. At night, the main table in the center is raised and Warsaw's trendsetters come to hang out and sip some wine. Service is terribly slow but I think the staff is just getting the hang out it. Definitely recommended.

Szczotki i Pędzle revisited
I'm a big fan of the interior of this cafe and came back to take more photo of it. I love the mix of danish modern vintage with fresh shabby chic-esque design in the front of the cafe.

szczotki i pedzle cafe
Szczotki i Pedzle is a cafe that has a nice mix of eclectic furniture, especially retro design. I think the lamps and old school books are great.

stara ochota cafe & gallery
stara ochota is a magical gem.it is the type of place where you met the owners on your first visit and could spend all afternoon there. there are plenty books, games, and magazines to read, tables with lace tablecloths, and a room filled with antiques which are all for sale....! the coffee is fair trade, they have a big tea selection and there are lovely homemade pastries and cakes.it is easily one of the best cafes in warsaw-- it is worth the trip
