On every corner, the streets of Warsaw were filled with people trying to sell tulips for International Women's Day. I never knew about this holiday until moving here where the celebrations are grand and flowers are abundant. However, there are some changes in Polish society as Polish feminists are protesting this day as a day that marginalizes women. To boot, they had a MANIFA protest march this past weekend.
