This is one of my favorite places in Warsaw-- Przekaski Zakaski is a classy fast food Polish style. It is open 24 hours, 7 days a week and has a short set menu: drinks (including shots of vodka) for 4 zloty and all snacks for 8 zloty. The place was established based on the old pre-war gastronomic traditions in Warsaw. It is pretty much standing room only, full of good conversation, drinking and smoke. The servers wear suit pants with pressed white shirts and black bow ties. Most importantly, the food is fantastic and authentic--- herring in oil with onions, pate with berries and horseradish, pork knuckle aspic, white Polish sausages and boiled potatoes with cream.
